Logos Foundation – <Toypi> and <Picradars> demo
The Logos Foundation is one of Belgium’s leading centres for experimental music, specialized in the development of new instruments and interfaces for interactive applications. Since several years, Logos has been building many musical robots that can interact with musicians, dancers, performers etc.
This robot orchestra is part of the <M&M>ensemble (Man and Machines), a group of professional musicians specialized in interactive performances with machines.
<Toypi>, a robotic chromatic grand toy piano, is one of the newest and smallest members of the orchestra.
<PicRadar> is a microwave radar based installation for capturing information on human body movement to be used for controlling automated musical instruments and robots.

mesh_up_beta – Corneel Cannaerts

‘Rood Monochroom’ – Stefaan Quix
Een leeg zwart, beeld evolueert langzaam naar een leeg rood beeld;
compromisloos worden alle stadia tussen deze twee monochromen gedissecteerd.
De klankband onderzoekt op dezelfde manier herhaling en fase tot het
verschil tussen de twee vervaagt.
